The sites were cleared of gravel, the dirt was broken up, leveled, and then compacted.

I. SITE MEASURMENT

The vast majority of the measuring was done with a measuring tape. Some photos were taken for 3d projection and documentation of the overall garden box process.

II. CONCEPT DESIGN

The wood type is Red Cedar, chosen for it's rot resistant properties.

Two different dimensional lumbers were implemented in the design and build:
2 x 6 - for backer, tie, and corner posts
1 x 4 - for siding and top rail

Once I had the cedar boards modeled and uv'd, I duplicated around and varied wood lengths until I found the following two designs:

Throughout the concepting phase, 3D models were exported to Unreal Engine to check the garden boxes for scale in Virtual Reality using the 3 models:

V. THE GARDEN

The garden boxes were then placed and filled with a raised bed soil mix.
