Further down the page, I go over additions made for my portfolio. For this set I wanted to continue my exploration of the Maxon Noise node found in Redshift 3D. I wanted to see how much the Maxon Noise could work for texturing. Final Presentation: The goal was to explore the maxon noise and get more familiar with working with it. I used the Redshift AO node, Redshift Curvature node, Maxon Noise node, 2D Ramps, all plugged into Redshift Color Layers either into the color input (when making grayscale masks), or in the mask input (when needing to create visible color through a mask), creating color, bump, roughness, and masks procedurally to explore Maxon Noise in depth: I found this exploration of procedural texturing and shading to be eye opening. You can definately do a lot with the Maxon noises. To do full texturing this way is likely not the best use of time. But I can see using what I learned from this to apply variations and breakup to textures from Substance Painter or another texturing suite.
